Terms and Conditions of Use of the Website and Transactions on the Website
Use of the Website
By using the website or making a purchase on the site you agree to have read, understood and to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you are uncertain about any of the terms then please contact us.
In order to make purchases on the site you will require to register and provide your personal details. Customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. When ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you confirm that the payment details you provide when ordering are correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the information provided.
Purchases can only be made by eligible customers who have a valid credit card acceptable to Pam Jenkins and who have authorised Pam Jenkins to process charges for their purchases to their credit card. We reserve the right to restrict multiple purchases of any item by any one customer.
By making an offer to purchase you authorise us to perform credit checks, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Since credit and card checks normally occur after the transaction processes we reserve the right to refuse, void, credit or refund a transaction or transactions without supplying a reason even although it has processed on the website. We do not accept any loss or expense that may have been incurred by the customer if we take such action but any monies received by Pam Jenkins from the customer will be refunded in full.
All items are subject to availability. If an item is sold out we will remove it or the unavailable sizes from the website as soon as we can. If we have any problems with the availability of your order, we will contact you as soon as possible and either offer you a suitable alternative, order the product in for you or give you a full refund if we are unable to fulfill your order.
Delivery charges are determined by weight. See Delivery and Returns page for current rates.
Deliveries in the UK are by Royal Mail Next Day Delivery and abroad by signed for Airmail although we reserve the right to use alternative methods of delivery where necessary. There are restrictions on the sizes of parcels that can be sent by the above. For the UK this is 610mm*460mm*460mm and abroad no side can be greater than 60cms and the length and depth must not be more than 90cms.
Individual purchases of shoes should fall within the above restrictions but boots and multiple purchases may exceed the above dimensions. If this is the case we will contact the purchaser if further delivery charges will be incurred if for example delivery is required to be made by an international carrier. In this event the purchaser shall have the right to decline their purchase or have it shipped by an alternative method. Parcels over 2kg cannot be sent by Royal Mail Airmail services but we can offer alternatives.
Delivery times are normally (except Channel Islands) next day Monday – Friday if orders are placed before 12 noon the previous day. Orders placed on a Friday will be delivered Monday and orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will normally be delivered on a Tuesday. Deliveries are subject to satisfactory credit checks being completed. Where additional confirmation of personal or credit details are required this may hold up delivery.
Airmail shipments will take normally take 3-5 days to Europe and 5-7 days elsewhere.
Delivery times can be subject to a delay in the event of disruption to Royal Mail or foreign postal services or during exceptionally busy periods.
Where goods are to be exported outside the EU Fiscal area then the price of a product will be reduced by the VAT element contained in the price.
Customers are responsible for payment of all customs or import duties and Pam Jenkins cannot be held responsible for these or for goods being delayed, held or impounded at Customs in the country of delivery. Customs duties will normally apply in countries outside the EU Fiscal area which includes the Channel Islands.
If you are not completely happy with your order, we will offer you an exchange or a refund for returned goods. You must notify us within 7 days from when you receive the goods that you wish to return the goods and goods must be returned within 7 days of notifying us you wish to return them.
To arrange a return or cancel your order, you must send an email to email@example.com within 7 days of receipt of your goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why. We will give you a returns number to write on the parcel.
Shoes and boots must only be tried on carpeted surfaces. We cannot accept returns of goods for whatever reason if they have been worn or used on hard surfaces and soles show sign of wear. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
Goods must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt of the goods and in the same condition that they were dispatched with the original packaging and box. If the goods are not returned in their original condition or if any of the packaging or dust bags have been removed then we reserve the right to insist upon payment for the goods. Refunds outwith 7 days from receipt of goods will be at the discretion of Pam Jenkins.
You are required to arrange and pay for the return of the goods to us, except where the item is faulty. If goods are faulty we will refund the cost of the goods on their return. Please allow up to 10 working days for your goods to reach us. You are responsible for insuring returned goods and we recommend you obtain proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that we do not receive.

Payment can be made securely online through SagePay. This is a fully secure 128 bit encryption service run by Sagepay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Visa Debit and Visa Electron. To maintain customer security we require payments to be Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode protected. In exceptional circumstances we may accept credit card payments over the telephone or by email but will require additional verification of identity before we can do this. All prices will be billed in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at 20%. Currency estimates on the website are for guidance only and customers should check actual rates of exchange at the time of the transaction. These rates may vary from country to country and with different credit card providers.

Sage Pay uses a range secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure. Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.
Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.
Sage Pay is an active member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.
So when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.

In store transactions are covered by different terms and conditions and the above terms and conditions only apply to mail order or sales from the website.
Errors and Omissions
Pam Jenkins reserve the right not to supply goods or refund a transaction where an error or omission has been made in the details of any product offered for sale.
